This page explains how to request deletion of your Ritual account and the data associated with it. Ritual is developed by Ethruna.
Email us from your account address and we will delete your Ritual account and its data within 30 days.
How to request deletion
Send a deletion request to ethruna.tech@gmail.com from the email address registered to your Ritual account, with “Delete my Ritual account” as the subject. Sending from the registered address is how we confirm the request is yours.
Please include the email address used in the app, so we can locate the correct account.
What is deleted
When your request is processed, the following are permanently removed:
- Your account and the profile information held with it.
- The content you created in the app, including your routines, entries and progress history.
- Your in-app preferences and settings.
Deletion is permanent. Once the data is removed it cannot be restored, and signing in again will create a new, empty account.
What may be kept
We may keep a limited set of records after deletion where the law requires it, or where they are needed to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse or meet a legal obligation. Server log files are kept for no less than one year and no more than two years, after which they are deleted and destroyed, as described in our privacy policy.
Anything kept for these reasons is no longer linked to your account and is not used to identify you.
How long it takes
Requests are handled free of charge, as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
